Yes, there is no relation between visit visa (short term Visa) and FRV (long term visa). One can apply for visit visa at German embassy during FRV process in case it is taking long time.

There is NO impact of previous refusals on the FRV application for Germany. If requirements are fulfilled one can apply for FRV without any issue.

The validity of German A1 language certificate is one year. The expired certificate is not acceptable at the embassy. In case your A1 certificate is expired, kindly apply again before your FRV appointment.

No. You need to bring your child along with you during the appointment along with his documents attached in the file.

• Normal: Birth certificate issued with “Normal” status means that parents of child had registered the birth of child within two years of birth date. This will be verified by lawyer and he will check the manual record in local council office.
  However, only  in KPK province of Pakistan, birth certificate will be issue as Normal even the it is registered late as per law.
• Late: Birth certificate issued with “Late” status means that parents of child had not registered the birth of child within two years of birth date. They require a “Court Order” to make an entry at local council office. This will be verified by lawyer and he will check the manual record in local council office and can ask for Court order.

• If the document is in English or in German language then it will be acceptable at the embassy. However all documents needs to attach with English/German translation.

Changing name to adopt husbands name after marriage is not mandatory now according to the new NADRA regulations.  Women can keep their name and still will be eligible to apply for FRV visa after marriage.

As of today (1st January 2023), the wait time for FRV visa appointment at German Embassy Islamabad is 20 months. Remember after appointment on average it takes 8 months for lawyer verification and embassy to process your visa. In some cases it can even take more time.
